Zsuzanna Toth

Zsuzanna is a chef, editor and writer based in Berlin and Edinburg. She explores food through the lens of thoughts and words.

With a background in journalism and fashion, Zsuzanna hasn't considered cooking as a career for a long time, although it always brought her joy. Being able to offer plates as meeting points for friends and strangers to exchange words led her to explore this path.

'Cooking is a new form to express oneself, learn or unlearn and be more conscious of the world around us.'

After catering and organizing pop up events she has done with her friend former co-worker Julia Heifer, the opportunity to open GAIA appeared, it became a seasonal restaurant and culinary collaboration in a remote greenhouse was limited for two years. However, the duo continues to work together on private events. Zsuzanna's culinary journey is a testament to her passion for food, creativity, and the power of bringing people together through the shared experience of a delicious meal.
