Tegan is an Australian ceramic artist based between Sydney and Berlin. Her work is embracing the unknown as a tool for learning about the world.

Tegan's highly textured forms and surfaces are inspired by organic coral architecture, deep-sea life and deep-time geological forms as well as the dualism of build-up and erosion. Her practice creates functional ceramic ritual wares and experimental sculptures where each material and glaze is chosen to create grounding objects that play with the senses.

Alongside making ceramics Tegan is also interested in the vibrant ceramic community around her. In 2021, she was a co-founder and co-curator of the exhibition Vessels: New Berlin Crafts. Year after, in 2022, she curated a selection of ceramics for the third edition of the exhibition Hot Mess, focused specifically on promoting Berlin artists.
