Nadiia Shapoval
Nadiia, namesake project, is a brand focused on unlocking the spiritual, artistic, and tactile potential of physical objects we encounter in our everyday life. The ethos of the project is to combine traditional craft techniques and materials, which have a unique history, with the cutting edge talent of modern creatives. The first chapter is a collection of ceramics handmade in Ukraine using traditional craft techniques in collaboration with Kyiv-based artist Masha Reva.
What are the origins of your creation?
I love my country - Ukraine, it is unique in its struggle. I feel here real vibe of creative freedom. I use a lot of our national roots as an Ukrainian woman.
What is your ritual to connect with your inner self?
It is easy - I just always keep my eyes wide open. People in daily life inspire me a lot. Ukraine as it is - also.

Who is your biggest Muse?
My biggest muse for now is a combination of my talented friends in Kyiv with my travels all over the world. I love reading books and it brings me a lot of inspiration.
