Mozhdeh Matin Sahih is a founder of luxury fashion label Mozhdeh Matin based in Lima.
Born in Peru to Iranian parents, Mozhden’s aesthetic is informed by a soothing chaos framed in the nature of chromatic senses, gentle silhouettes and surprising textures. Establishing her label in the spirit of community, heritage and artisanship Mozhdeh Matin combines timeless design with high quality, and ethical craft.
In the latest Spring/Summer 2023 collection, Mozhden collaborated with her muse. Persian Peruvian artist, harpist, and composer Eve Matin.
Thoughtfully manufactured in Peru since 2008, Matin’s creations come to life through traditional Peruvian techniques such as weaving and knitting energized as well as experimentation with textile. Connecting the past to the present, the label's aesthetic is framed in the nature of chromatic senses, gentle silhouettes and surprising textures.
With a promise to preserve ancestral crafts, their design is fuelled by modernity and innovation. All materials come from sustainable sources that seek to give back to communities involved.
