Sophie Lou Jacobsen
Sophie is a designer based in New York. With the user always in the center, her poetic approach explores the relationship between humans and
every-day objects.
Simple products that surround us are her tool to enhance routines, rituals and moods of the user. Sophie fell in love with glass during Furnishing Utopia and wavy glassware became significant for her design quickly after. Inspired by Bauhaus designer Marianne Brandt, she is now exploring her range with a different material. Sophie's new collection of home goods is this time all made
out of metal.

Paying close attention to the process, products are made in small batches and assembled by hand. Most colored glass objects are made from raw materials, originally made in China. By working together with local craftspeople Sophie and her team make sure the products have the best quality and are made in an environment that is safe for the workers.
